hey, i'm jaquette.png

I’m a lover of Earl Grey tea, words, and self-expression. Especially self-expression that inspires, empowers and brings about self-awareness and joy.

I believe in being and living an authentic life.

I believe in being confident and owning your truths.

I believe in the power of words and their ability to spark life and pronounce death.

I believe in embracing imperfections and in remaining joyful regardless of present circumstances.

What about you, friend? What are your truths?

I know how it is to feel as if you do not have a voice--at least not one worth listening to.

I know how it feels to be a woman of faith struggling with perfectionism, low self-confidence, and a negative mindset.

I know how it feels to have a message inside of you that desperately wants to come out, but you're not sure how to make that happen.

I know all of these things because I have struggled in each of these areas. I have not yet “arrived” and I am okay with that. Yet, that doesn’t mean I can’t help you on your journey to becoming an authentic and confident writer. A writer who freely uses her creativity to inspire, empower, and make a difference in the lives of others. It's all about progress over perfection, right?

things you should know about me.png
about me description.png
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
